The Aviation cocktail is now easier to make than ever, as Maraschino Liqueur and Creme de Violette are now widely available.  This cocktail will appeal to those who enjoy a slightly bitter taste in their cocktails, as well as to gin fans.


1 1/2 oz London Dry Gin
1/2 Oz fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz Creme de Violette
1 tsp of Maraschino


Stir or shake with ice and strain into an old fashioned glass.
