The Manhattan is a classic of classics. Simple, straightforward, yet open to experimentation — try different types of bitters, citrus and types of whiskey.
Ingredients:
2 oz Rye Whiskey
1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth
2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Maraschino Cherry for garnish
Directions:
Pour ingrendients into a shaker with ice. Shake well, pour into old-fashioned or rocks glass. Garnish with a cherry.
