Pisco Sour

Did you know that the first day in February is National Pisco Sour Day in Peru? Pisco is a regional brandy made throughout South America, and the Pisco Sour an absolutely delightful drink: luscious, tangy, and rich.

Ingredients:

2 oz Pisco
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
1 egg white
1 dash Amargo bitters, but Angestora will suffice

Directions:

Add the Pisco, lime, simply syrup and eggwhite to a shaker with NO ice.  Shake 10 – 12 seconds.  Add ice and shake 60 seconds  Pour and strain into an old fashioned cocktail glass. Add dash of bitters.
